PUBLIC NOTICE
WADING RIVER FIRE DISTRICT
TOWNS OF BROOKHAVEN AND RIVERHEAD, SUFFOLK COUNTY, NEW YORK
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the fiscal affairs of the WADING RIVER FIRE DISTRICT for the period beginning on January 1, 2025 and ending on December 31, 2025 have been examined by an independent public accountant and the report of said examination has been filed in the Office of the Treasurer of the Fire District with the Town Clerk of the Towns of Brookhaven and Riverhead, and with the New York Office of the State Comptroller. Said report is available as a matter of public record for all interested persons, who may obtain access to it at the Main Firehouse, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, New York 11792, pursuant to Section 35 of the General Municipal Law. The Board of Fire Commissioners may, in its discretion, prepare a response to this examination and file said response in the Office of the Treasurer of said Fire District, as a matter of public record for inspection by all interested persons.
