On Sunday, December 8, starting at 10 am, Santa Claus will be escorted around Wading River by the members of the Wading River Fire Dept. Rain date is the following Sunday, December 15.
The fire trucks will announce his arrival into your neighborhood with sirens and air horns. WRFD President, Mike Hammer, said: “Santa is looking forward to once again seeing all the children of Wading River.” Santa promises to visit every street during the course of the day, finishing by night fall. Santa, who loves to give out candy to all, will also collect non-perishable food donations for the Stuff-A-Bus food drive. So, if you have a bag or box of food to donate, the firefighters will gladly collect them, as they show Santa Claus your neighborhood!
