On Friday November 22, 2019 at approximately 1442hrs the Department responded to the intersection of Rt. 25 (Middle Country Rd.) and Wading River Manor Rd., Wading River for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment.
Upon arrival, Fire Rescue personnel removed a drivers side door, utilizing hydraulic extrication tools to remove the vehicle occupant.
Several vehicle occupants were treated and transported by Wading River Fire Dept. Ambulances to a local hospital.
At the completion of the assignment the scene was turned over to the Riverhead Police Dept.
All units were back in service at 1544hrs.
