Heavy Rescue MVA

On Friday October 11, 2019 at approximately 1615hrs the Department responded to Sound Ave. and Hulse Landing Rd. Wading River for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident, involving multiple vehicles.
Upon arrival, Fire Rescue Personnel located a trapped occupant within a heavily damaged overturned vehicle and was rapidly extricated, utilizing hydraulic extrication tools.
Several injured vehicle occupants were treated and transported to a local hospital by Wading River Fire Department Ambulances and a Ridge Fire Department Ambulance.
At the completion of the assignment the scene was turned over to the Riverhead Police Department.
All units were back in service at 1734hrs.
