Propane BBQ Tank Fire

On Sunday July 14, 2019 at approximately 1839hrs the Department responded to Bayberry Rd. Wading River for an active Propane BBQ Tank Fire on the deck of a residence.
Upon arrival, Firefighters utilized a hose line to cool the tank allowing them to turn off the gas and remove the propane tank away from the residence.
At the completion of the assignment no injures were reported and the damage was confined to the bbq grill. All units were back in service at 1917hrs.
