On Tuesday July 17, 2018 at approximately 1718hrs the Department responded to South Road, Wading River for a reported Residental Structure Fire.
Upon arrival, Department Members had a smoke condition and high heat conditions within the residence, with no visible fire. After utilizing thermal imaging cameras the fire was located in the walls and extinguished.
Several neighboring Fire Departments were requested to assist with overhaul and relief.
At the completion of the incident no injures were reported and the scene was turned over to the Riverhead Fire Marshals office for further investigation.
All units were back in service at 1901hrs.
