| On Saturday January 28, 2017 The Wading River Fire Department was activated for a Mutual Aid to Riverhead. Firefighters were battling a large barn fire off Twomey Avenue in Calverton. Wading River responded quickly with two engines and assisted in bringing the fire under control. |
