Wading River Provides Mutual Aid to Three Structure Fires

Spring is fire season. The unseasonably warm, dry, and windy conditions in recent days increase the risk of fires igniting and spreading more quickly. On Thursday, April 16, the Wading River Fire Department assisted neighboring departments with three separate fire incidents. The most significant of these was a structure fire in Rocky Point. Wading River sent its new multi-purpose engine, 6-3-2, to assist Rocky Point with a quick knockdown of the fire.
