On Friday May 22, 2020 at approximately 2158hrs, the Department responded to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident on Wading River Manor Road in the vicinity of Oak Park Trailer Park.
On arrival, firefighters found an active fire in the engine compartment of a vehicle and quickly extinguished same without incident. The vehicle occupant was treated and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
At the completion of the alarm, the scene was turned over to the Riverhead Police Department.
All units were back in Service at 2242hrs.
