On Sunday, June 18, 2017 The Wading River Fire Department was activated

at two separate times for a water rescue. Both incidents involved small crafts

that were disabled off of Wading Rivers Town Beach on Creek Road.

Wading River Boat 6-3-18B was directed to the small crafts by

Wading River Command in conjunction with Riverhead PD.

The small crafts and all their occupants in both incidents were

brought safely to shore by The Wading River Fire Department Boat Rescue Team.

Thankfully, no injuries reported or medical treatment needed in either of the incidents.
