| NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WADING RIVER FIRE DISTRICT
ANNUAL BUDGET FOR 2020
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of September, 2019, pursuant to Section 105 of the Town Law and Section 181 of the Town Law, the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Wading River Fire District confirmed that the Annual Fire District Budget Hearing will be conducted with reference to the Annual Fire District Budget for fiscal year 2020 on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, commencing at 7:00 P.M., at Fire Headquarters located at 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, New York, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners is required to adopt a proposed budget at least twenty-one (21) days before October 15, 2019, so that it is available for public inspection prior to the budget hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Wading River Fire District has adopted a proposed Annual Fire District Budget for 2020 as of this date for purposes of discussion and review at the Budget Hearing to be held on October 15, 2019 and a copy of the proposed budget is available at the office of the Town Clerks of the Town of Brookhaven and Riverhead and at the office of the Wading River Fire District Secretary at Fire Headquarters, 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, New York where it may be inspected by an interested person during office hours. Copies of the proposed budget will be available on the night of the said hearing.
NOW, therefore, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Wading River Fire District will hold the Annual Fire District Budget Hearing to be conducted with reference to the Annual Fire District Budget for fiscal year 2020 on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, commencing at 7:00 P.M., at the Fire Headquarters District Building located at 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, New York.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the aforesaid budget will be presented to the residents and taxpayers of the Wading River Fire District and to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Wading River Fire District, for their respective consideration at this public hearing and for the purpose of considering the said budget and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, commencing at 7:00 P.M., at the Fire Headquarters Building located at 1503 North Country Road, Wading River, New York.
